About Ramona

Selecting a new career at 70 years old may seem a little strange to some, but after 35 years in the food service business Port Orleans Rib and Steakhouse I feel that helping folks find their dream home would also be an exiting and rewarding business. I am a 4th generation native of Northwest Arkansas. I graduated Rogers High School and attended the University of Arkansas. After living on the east coast and the west coast and somewhere in between I found no better place to live than Northwest Arkansas and soon came home. My husband Larry and I have two sons. One is an electrical contractor and the youngest has joined me at Coldwell Banker HMF. I will strive to bring the qualities that so many of you so graciously twittered(or is it tweeted) about us to my new career. It was rewarding and yet humbling to hear such compliments as quality, sincerity, genuineness, cooked with love and friendliness. My family incorporated our passion for the restaurant business with our other PASSION which is a deep respect for the earth. We have been involved in promoting sustainable farming practices and the whole organic movement for 35 years. I will be joining my sister Patsy Simmons and three other family members who are seasoned REALTORS. As was written over 3000 years ago I believe that every person deserves to own their own land, their own home and yes maybe their own garden or vineyard
