My job is racing along the beaches of Kachemak Bay, sniffing for driftwood, feeling salty & free. But February? even a rugged Alaskan pup like me feels the clever Northwind. I need a home that my humans can drive right up into my shop attached to my home. No ice, no snow packed paws, just radiant heated floors & space for our toys. Including the fishing boat, I love my Alaskan Home!Once home I sprawl out on the heated tile and pretend to have had an exhausting day. Big Sigh, tilted head, hungry eyes. The open floor plan allows me to keep an eye on my family and their eating habits. As soon as a snack hits the countertop, I am aware and can prepare. The kitchen is everyone's favorite gathering place. Family meals spill into the living room transform into dancing and games. I clean up as needed. I gaze out the window to my kingdom. The spacious deck has room for my friends. We make the best dinner bones out there. Below the deck my yard is fully fenced. No unexpected moose while I am getting my zoomies in. Of course, my humans love it here too. Something about easy to maintain (your welcome), perfect location, and a home I can grow old in. The beach and baseball fields are close. The home is all on one spacious level, even the shower is easy access and roomy for cleaning my beach vibes off. Even with all of our toys there is lots of room for working on projects and being creative. The shop is 1296 sq ft and has a 12'x9' bay door for the boat and an 8'x8' for my whip. The driveway is paved. It has a ventilation machine to protect my lungs, and a floor drain for easy clean up. I consider of myself as a security dog and this house is fully equipped with all the technology I need to never get caught napping off guard. If the power goes out the Generac system seamlessly keeps my home humming along. This isn't just a house. It is a warm pawed, open concept, security backed, fenced in Homer headquarters for living the salty life.
