In the twenty-three years since my coming to Spokane, my enthusiasm for the town has not diminished a bit; in fact, it has only grown stronger. If there is a city anywhere that offers so much so conveniently, I don't know where it is. Having lived for substantial periods of time in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City and Seattle, I appreciate more than most the blend of culture, recreation and financial opportunity available in Spokane.
I began my working career as a teacher at Columbia University in New York, and have ever since sought to acquire knowledge that enhances my own life and then to pass it on to others. That, in a nutshell, defines my role as a real estate agent: to cushion my clients from the bumps and jostles of a real estate transaction by providing a cushion of knowledge, experience and compassion. For investors, I provide the perspective of one who ran his own business in Seattle for eighteen years, was responsible for making payroll, purchasing inventory and making sales. To the residential buyer or seller, I bring the experience of a father of two wonderful grown women and of a husband with nearly fifty years of negotiating the twists and turns of marital life.
