Born and brought up in Boston, I graduated from Girls' Latin School (now part of Boston Latin School) and Simmons University. At Simmons, I majored in Community Work with a minor in Psychology. I worked for both the Social Work Careers Program and The Division of Employment Security counseling women with domestic problems and helping create employment opportunities for the unemployed. After starting a family, I moved to Brookline where my family and I have lived for over 40 years. Returning to work, I found that the real estate profession provided me with the opportunity to use my expertise as a counselor and my ability to help people achieve success.
For many years, I have put those skills to use, guiding sellers and buyers through the many complicated steps involved in buying and/or selling property. I have helped smooth the way for my clients with patience and genuine empathy. As a result, much of my real estate business comes from previous clients and referrals.
I still love meeting new people and new challenges, however. Through the years, I have worked with clients buying a first home, moving up to a larger home or downsizing to a smaller home. I have sold condominiums, single families, and multi-families.
Because I continue to love learning, I have earned many designations such as Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and Senior Residential Specialist (SRES). I have received many awards for selling, but my greatest award has always been seeing my clients at their closings, thrilled and anticipating their future in their new homes.
