Ralph and I had a wonderful time working with Linda Moorhead, and would highly recommend her to others who are buying or selling a house. We were first time homebuyers, and Linda served as an excellent counsel, thought partner, and a great source of knowledge and reassurance throughout the process. I will highlight a few examples of Linda's professionalism.
Firstly, Linda strikes the perfect balance between giving us space, but also providing well-timed expert advice. We initially were unsure of what type of house we were looking at, but Linda patiently showed us different types of houses across different price ranges to help us narrow down our criteria. Once we had crystallized our priorities, Linda performed a thorough search of houses that fit the criteria and very efficiently lined up viewings for us. In the viewings, Linda gave us the time and space to come to our own conclusions, but also offered us perspective and valuable advice on the properties.
Secondly, Linda possesses deep knowledge, contact and resources, which allow her to exceed client expectations. For example, we found a house for which we came very close to making an offer. However, we were considering putting in a pool. Having a pool was extremely important to us, and Linda went to the Stamford city offices, and checked that it was possible in lieu of zoning and other regulatory restrictions. Before and after the closing, Linda had many reputable recommendations for inspectors, pool companies, electricians, roofers, and has been invaluable in making this whole process smooth.
Lastly, Linda has a great intuition and expert advice that I have sought throughout the process. When we were putting in an offer on our house, Linda gave us expert perspective on how the seller could react to the price, and we landed on a price we were very happy with. Also, when the mortgage process kicked off, there was a delay in the house inspection due to miscommunication between the inspector and the bank. We didn't realize there could be a potential issue, but Linda was the first person to raise a flag that (in fact, the inspector had completely dropped the ball) and went out and beyond to contact the bank and inspector, to make sure this was being scheduled.
Linda made the home buying process as smooth and enjoyable as it could be. We genuinely enjoyed working with her, and appreciate her both as an agent and as a friend. Linda is undoubtedly our only choice for our real estate needs, and we would recommend her services without hesitation. (Stamford)
Linda assisted my wife and I in purchasing our first home in Stamford, Connecticut. Going into the process, what we didn't know about buying a home, making renovations/improvements and moving from out of state would fill volumes. Linda held our hands and assisted us through the entire home search, the purchase and beyond. By the end of the process, we learned so much and felt confident that we had made good decisions all along the way, thanks in no small part to Linda's advice and knowledge.
