"After nearly 40 years with the same company, my answer is the grass may look greener on the other side BUT. I believe it's kind of like farming. If you plow, prepare and work the field (be alive and help someone, join committees, be active in your church, be a board member such as credit unions, FVTC, hustle FSBO's, mostly just be kind to more people and ask how their day is going) is a good start. Then you plant good seeds (positive attitude). Next add the right fertilizers and lime to the soil (attend training, listen to management & company assistance, and work with NEW Title Company). Pray for rain and sunshine as both are beneficial (same as...good and not so good markets) you must like the strength of the crops be able to adjust to survive. Understand that your knowledge and our trade is needed in both situations. Get rid of the weeds, (stay positive and fresh so you don't get burnt out)...Work hard and work smart and "The Good Harvest" will be there for you! Be helpful, fair, and trustworthy....This company always strives to be the best. This company looks for and hires good management people, dedicated and smart staff personnel, and creates a good work environment for the sales agents. They are so good they are just getting to be a Larger Farm.....more Acres, better equipment and of course the PEOPLE that make it happen.....all of YOU. I have learned soooo much from this company! It really doesn't get much GREENER that this."
Phenomenal new agent and mentor training, both weekly in-house and through our full-time training department, and from formal support to peer advising. Agents take time to answer questions; the environment is upbeat, positive, and fun, while still professional and personable. Management truly supports, encourages, and believes in all agents at the office. Our priority is centered around our consumers. A team of individual agents who work well collectively to positively impact the real estate environment in the Fox River Valley. We support each other, which, in turn, allows us to support our community in better and more impactful ways.
I started with Coldwell Banker TREG & the Lynndale office over 10 years ago. It has been an amazing career so far and I have to admit that it has been fun and exciting as well as challenging but one thing that has always remained strong and steadfast...the strength and determination of the broker manager! The management at this office is by the far the best I have seen in the industry and has given me so much guidance and direction to surpass my goals every year, I feel so blessed to be a part of this group of talented professionals. The cutting edge technology and training you receive every day is priceless and the company even shares in your marketing expenses. Don't forget about the fully staffed client services, career center, IT staff, relocation department, training and agent services that is open 24/7...WOW! I would have my "shingle" no other place!
"This office has wonderful energy and it just feels like "home" to me. Everyone always goes above and beyond when it comes to helping each other and our community. We have a excellent support system and the opportunities that this office and Coldwell Banker has are far above anything you would receive anywhere else!"
"It's an education just to be surrounded by top producing agents. Not only that, but it's a friendly and extremely helpful environment. When I began my real estate career, I found the in-office mentor-ship from my manager and agents alike to be invaluable. Sales are hard. Real estate is hard. You aren't handed a manual or a book of business to get you started. The best and perhaps also the worst part about real estate is waking up everyday unemployed. You create your own business. You create your own brand. You create your own client base. The support, encouragement, and knowledge shared between agents in this office is my reason for being here, with Coldwell, and in the office, on a day to day basis."
