Allyson Wise-Bird
My Florida story began in 1969 when my parents left Baltimore, Maryland and moved us to New Smyrna Beach. They had been to the area on vacation and fell in love. My brother was born here and has never left. I on the other hand, had other thoughts. After graduating from Rollins College in near by Winter Park, I quickly put my degree in Communications to use creating large events in the motorsports industry. It would be this position that led me to Charlotte, North Carolina.
After leaving the motorsports industry, I would go on to direct day-to-day operations for two manufacture rep agencies. The first dealt with irrigation and wastewater products and the second was a government contractor that sold notions to the US Government for military applications.
The entire time I lived in North Carolina, I continued to maintain deep ties with my "beloved" Florida, making the 7-hour trip numerous times a year. After raising my children, it was the love of family and my passion for the beach that finally brought me back to area full time in 2017.
My desire to help others fulfill the dream of living in paradise has led me to a career in real estate. Coldwell Banker Premier Properties has provided me the opportunity to make the dream a reality. - Volunteer Member of NSB Turtle Trackers - educating the public on the importance of keeping our beaches clean for our wildlife
- Volunteer member of Habitat for Humanity - building houses for the less fortunate
- Participated in public programs at race tracks along the East Coast promoting Valvoline's "Just Say No" Anti-Drug program. Handled all public relations and media for all events.
- Served as a VIP for Volusia County Schools, participating in several career days promoting the Anti-drug program (D.A.R.E.) and safety in automobiles
