I am a full-time Realtor® who understands that buying the perfect property requires someone to notify you as soon as it is for sale and that you will get the highest price for your property when you have timely information to make decisions. Whether you are buying or selling, I focus on communication throughout the process and strive to make your transaction smooth, stress-free, and hopefully even a little fun too. I am the managing broker and owner of Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties in Crested Butte. In 2015 I purchased Red Lady Realty, Crested Butte's oldest real estate company, and in September 2018 we merged with Coldwell Banker Bighorn Realty to create a new force in real estate in Crested Butte. I truly enjoy coaching and helping my agents create the best business and life that they can. There are a lot of opportunities to further your education in the real estate business. I think it is important to continue learning how to serve my clients better and to do the best job I can. I have completed many hours of education to become a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), a charter member of RSPS (Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist) and complete the SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource) Certification. The most recent designation I received is Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) which is designed to raise professional standards and strength office performance. As a member of the Gunnison Crested Butte Association of Realtors®, I am also a part of the Colorado Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®. I am currently involved at all three levels of our organization. I am passionate about this work to improve the real estate industry, advocate for private property rights in the United States and Colorado and create opportunity for homeownership. I grew up in Taos, NM, and moved east to attend Phillips Exeter Academy and Trinity College in Hartford, CT, but soon returned to the mountains. When we moved to Crested Butte in 1997, we immediately started major renovations to Irwin Lodge which we managed for five years. I feel lucky to live in Crested Butte and am proud to be a part of this community. This is an exciting time in Crested Butte, and I would like nothing better than to be your guide.
