Hi, thanks for dropping by my profile page. If you have a real estate need in San Angelo, Texas or the Concho Valley, I would be delighted to help.

This is what my dad always called the 'Brag' or 'Yay me' page. I'm just an average guy. I grew up as a "service brat" whose father spent 29 years in the United States Air Force. We moved around the country a great deal, (before graduating high school, I attended 7 different schools) so I understand the problems associated with hauling your family into a new city in an unknown state.

My career, prior to becoming a Real Estate agent, was teaching/coaching. Again, this helped my preparation for this job. I moved often, coaching at 7 different high schools. I have seen quite a few high school gyms in my life. I spent 31 years coaching high school basketball and teaching history, government, economics and English. I am 73 years old and have lived in 39 different homes in my lifetime, so I think that I understand moving. I love San Angelo and believe that it is a wonderful place to live. It is a big ¿small town.¿ It is home to lovely neighborhoods, a great university, a vibrant downtown, a unique air force base¿one with no planes, and some of the friendliest, kindest people on the planet.

I have 4 children: Kris, Kathryn, Kort and Abby. My grown son is a retired Army Lt. Colonel and works for the University of Texas. I think he has turned into a pretty cool guy: a published author who plays the guitar. My talented and lovely eldest daughter lives and works in Austin. She is the only one in the family with an artistic bent. The "pups" are at still in college. Kort is a graduate student at University of California San Barbara, where he is studying environmental science and ecology. Abby attends Texas Tech University and is student teaching in math. My wife, Darla, a former Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball player, is a teacher at Wall Elementary.

My hobbies are reading, golf and watching college basketball.  I'm just an average guy who likes kids, basketball and books. Since becoming a REALTOR®, I have been fairly successful. In 2019, my partner Lauren Montgomery and I sold 61 houses with a total value of $12.8 million. In 2020 we sold 61 houses with a total value of $14.1 million. In 2021 we sold we had 96 transactions with a volume of $23.8 I am a 10-time recipient of the President's Circle Award given to the top 2% of Coldwell Banker Agents I have been lucky, but I believe that luck really comes about through hard work and preparation. This is a service industry. Working hard brings results. I diligently create and utilize systems which serve the people I work for--the "other average guys" out there.

Call me and I'll discuss what makes Coldwell Banker Legacy the place for "you all" to come back to again and again. Come visit me on my website or find me on Facebook or on my Youtube channel (talktoScott).
