I have been so fortunate to have worked with a lot of amazing people and families over the last 22 years in the real estate business. Whether I’m assisting my clients moving to this area or helping them to prepare for the sale of their home and property, it‘s a rewarding and exciting experience. For me, it has always been about helping educate people about the area, the market, and guiding them through the transaction process. It is so important to have an experienced advocate and facilitator helping you make informed decisions that can impact your financial future throughout the process of buying and selling a home in this community. Personal Bio: We moved to Vermont in 2000 to the Champlain Islands from Isle of Palms, South Carolina, just outside of Charleston where my wife Anne and I owned and operated a Restaurant and Outfitting Business. In 2001 we bought an1860 farmhouse and cottage on Lake Champlain in Grand Isle that we have been renovating and improving over the years. We live there with our 21 year old son, Will, who attends the University of Vermont. Our 28 year old daughter, Alex graduated from the University of Vermont with a Communications Degree in 2022 and is a licensed Realtor working at CBIR. She also serves as a marketing and social media specialist. She creates a lot of amazing video content for the properties we represent and is an FAA Certified Drone pilot. Anne specializes in photography, photo editing, staging, and working as a Buyer's Agent at CBIR as well. We love spending time on Lake Champlain in the summer, participating in all manner of water sports, golf, and pickleball. In the winter, we spend a lot of time in Stowe, Vermont where we ski and own an investment property. Buying and selling waterfront, Island, and country properties is different and much more complicated than most residential real estate transactions.
