My Client Reviews
I was not planning to buy a house, I intended to build one on a lot I own in my then current neighborhood, Betton Hill (the correct name of the subdivision as it was recorded in 1939 in the public records of Leon County in Plat book 2, Page 80). At lunch one day with a group of friends that included Lea, she asked me some very important questions: What did I like so much about my current neighborhood? In what other neighborhood in town did I think I might like to live and why? And she listened to my answer. She had listened to me talking about building and had rightly picked up on the fact that this would be very hard for me to do, given my self-acknowledged inability to make decisions and the multitude of decisions that building would require me to make. She knew of a listing in the neighborhood that I named, and offered to show it to me--no pressure. This home was larger than I wanted and the bathroom not easily made handicapped accessible, which was something I wanted. She continued to listen and look for a home that would meet my needs. She showed me four homes in the neighborhood, one of which was just being listed by an agent in her office. She arranged for me to see it before it went to multi-list, and then guided me through the process of making an offer, including getting an estimate for roof repair which I thought might be needed to get homeowner's insurance. She took care of everything promptly, and kept me informed. The seller of this home was difficult to work with, but Lea was persistent in helping me get access to the home before closing to get estimates for painting, etc. She really wanted to find me a forever home that would meet my needs and make me happy, and she succeeded. Throughout the process she made me feel that it was important to her that she make the process as easy for me as possible, and that she was looking out for my interests. I felt comfortable that she was crossing all the t's and dotting the i's and that I did not have to worry about something being overlooked from consideration in the process of deciding on an offering price or negotiating a counteroffer or in writing up the contract. Trustworthiness and peace of mind were very important to me, and she exceeded my expectations in those areas and in the effort she put into finding me the right house and leading me through the process of acquiring it. Real estate is more than just a business to her. She really cares about doing a good job for her clients.
I could not have asked for better service. Lea was always available and explained each step of my transaction in great detail.
I have had the opportunity to work with Lea on several occasions. Her vast knowledge of the local market comes from her many years as a Tallahassee Realtor and is an invaluable asset. In a world where everyone one is in a hurry, her attention to detail is refreshing. I would highly recommend her for your next deal.
Mrs. Manifold is one of the best realtors in Tallahassee! Not only is she super knowledgeable, but she is also very helpful, and kind. Mrs. Manifold is always willing to answer any questions a client may have, in a timely manner, without making them feel silly for asking. I would know first hand, because I am a first time home buyer, and had no idea as to what was involved. Mrs. Manifold was practically holding my hand the whole way and made sure I understood what was happening every step. When I needed an appraiser, she sent me to the best in town. Once I received the appraisal, she made sure to break it down, so I could further understand the report. When I was biding on my home to be, I would always call her and ask her what she thought, and she would always give me her honest opinion. As for choosing my first home, Mrs. Manifold was very helpful. I felt that I was very picky and I already knew exactly what I wanted. I was determined I knew what I was doing and I had everything under control. I was very wrong. But, I could not be more delighted to have such an amazing woman help me learn what I needed, to purchase my first time home. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication Mrs. Manifold!
