My extensive background in construction gives me an understanding of the structure of homes and a connection to local tradespeople. I have lived in the hill towns of Western Massachusetts for most of my life, and I have a deep knowledge and appreciation of these communities. I specialize in rural properties but have experience with a wide variety of residential sales. When I'm not selling real estate, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, skiing and biking through the forest. My Client Testimonials

Working with Tim was a great experience. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and accessible. A phone call is answered or returned promptly. He really fought hard for us- taking care of all the details going above and beyond. I would recommend seeking him out for any real estate - buying or selling.
Tim was always helpful, informed,a good listener and accommodating. He took us to see sites on our schedule and told us where there were houses that we could drive bye to see. We had very specific requests and Tim always respected those. He was always eager to learn what he could from our outings (my husband is a timber framer). He took a personal interest in our "hunt" which is always a huge selling point for any salesman. We wish him nothing but the best!
Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! I reside pretty far away from my property in Western Massachusetts, and I have very little experience on the selling end of real estate. Tim's work on my behalf was excellent, and his efforts facilitated the transaction in every way, from finding me a buyer to helping me satisfy all the Massachusetts sales requirements. After I met with Tim to determine a sales price, not once did I have to return the more than 200 miles to the property. Tim took care of everything, including meeting all required inspectors at the property. I could not be more pleased with how smoothly and swiftly my sale proceeded under the guidance of this warm, friendly, personable broker!
I have had several dealings with Tim Parker over the years. His passion for his native Hilltowns coupled with his passion for negotiations and real estate expertise always impresses me. His energy is infectious and pushes both sides to arrive to the best mutual outcome. However, I'd prefer to have him on my side on the negotiations. He is a relentless negotiator and turns every stone for his clients. I think he does it for sport! I highly recommend working with him. He has a great ability to quickly and accurately assess your needs, find a home that best suits those needs, fight for you to get the best price and expedite the process even if the other party may be dragging their feet. However, his motto, I believe, is: "If you don't love it, don't buy it." He really wants you to be happy with your purchase and the process of which he clearly feels is a direct reflection on his part. He helped me figure out a very complicated situation of a rare cooperative share ownership that is an investment property for me. He propelled me to put the unit on the market and guided me as to how to find the best price without loosing money in the interim. I was impressed that he'd know how to help with this obscure situation. He was hugely helpful. He's affable and personable and is a pleasure to work with. He's also reliable, responsive and ethical in his dealings. Although he's negotiating, he keeps it real. This is the guy you want in your camp no matter on what side of the buying or selling end you may be.
Tim did an outstanding job for us throughout the process. He checked in with us frequently and gave us updates regularly. He worked well with the other professionals on our team. I would recommend Tim as a buyer's agent to anyone considering buying a home in this area.
Tim was great to work with. He was accommodating to my schedule for showings and very patient and helpful as I looked long and hard at different homes. I appreciated his quick responses to my texts, emails and questions. He's also a pleasant guy with a good sense of humor. Not least of all, he's patient, which at times I was not. Overall, I'd certainly use Tim again and recommend him to friends and strangers alike.
During our search for our first house, Tim was very diligent and proactive. His knowledge of the region helped us to understand the character of different areas, and his relationships with local tradespeople, lenders, and attorneys facilitated the closing process. As of writing this, we're getting settled in a house we feel lucky to own. Thanks Tim.
Tim is great. He really is. Friendly, knowledgeable, prompt. I didn't buy the house he showed me, but I still would and would likely work with him again if I look in his area. No pressure, just a really good attitude.
I was not previously acquainted with Tim, who was referred by a friend, and became my buyer's agent. I was traveling from out of state to buy a second home and managing much of the process via phone, text and email. I was very impressed with how responsive Tim was to every communication from me and how quickly he got needed answers and appropriate contacts during our inspection and negotiation process. The home I ultimately purchased presented several challenges and Tim guided me through those well, with sound information, local market perspective and excellent referrals to legal, septic, structural and water professionals. His warm and easy demeanor also made the process enjoyable throughout. I recommend Tim Parker very highly and without any reservation!
Great communication, very professional & helpful! Always available to answer questions & very knowledgeable. We had a complicated short sale situation & Tim was very proactive.
Tim was very helpful and spent hours driving around showing me homes. when we found the one he negotiated the best possible price for me. he also helped me to move through the VA. home loan process. I would highly recommend him to anyone buying a house in Western Massachusetts his knowledge of the local area is outstanding
One of the things that my wife and I absolutely loved about Tim is that he is very laid back and easy going without being lazy. What I mean by that is he is not the typical high pressure "This is the house you have to have! Isn't this house perfect for you!" kind of agent. He took the time to listen to what was important to us and helped us find it then took the time to answer all the questions, guide us through the process and made us feel comfortable during what should normally be a very unnerving time He was very patient, responsive to all our questions and never made either one of feel like we were bothering him with our questions and believe me, we had quite a few questions and I didn't ever feel like I was chasing him down for a response. He was very flexible in getting us into the houses that we wanted to see and on a time frame that worked with our busy work schedule. At the end of the day I would say that not only did my wife and I a find a great agent who really worked for "us" but also made a good friend as well. Bottom line........
Being new to the pioneer valley, Tim was a great asset for our family. His up to date knowledge of the market and resources were very helpful. He was always available for questions and updates that we needed. We found a home in our price range and time frame.
Was extremely nice, helpful, trustworthy, and honest. Saw a property that was a fixer-upper at best and did not sugar-coat things. Seemed to have a good understanding of homeownership and renovation costs. Had a good knowledge of properties in the area that we might be interested in. Would use again.

I was a first time home buyer with very little knowledge about the process and a lot of anxiety. He patiently explained everything to me and even pointed out all of the important aspects of each house we looked at so I knew what I would be getting into. Tim helped me through every step of the way. I felt like he was really in my corner and working for me. Not only did he help me find the perfect home but he also walked me through all the way to the end - going above and beyond what most realtors would do - to make sure I felt comfortable and happy. It really helped to know that I could trust the person I was working with....and it was truly a pleasant experience!

Maria and I would like to recommend Tim as an agent. He has an easy going nature and a sense of humor that helped us to feel comfortable. Although he is new to the field he has good local knowledge and if he did not know something he was always quick to find out the answers to any questions we had. He answered our phone calls promptly and was readily available to show us properties when we were in the area.
