My wife and I have worked with about a dozen real estate agents over our 35-year marriage, and Barb ranks at the top as a listing agent. 5 standout areas: 1. Fair market assessment. We thought our house was worth $20-30K more than Barb did. But we trusted her evaluation and went with her recommendation. Sure enough - she was spot on and we weren't! The house sold at the lower range of what she said it would. 2. Responsiveness. Marketing a house is a long and complicated process. Any time we had questions or when an issue arose, Barb responded very quickly - usually within minutes, but at most an hour or two later. 3. Help with house preparation for closing. By the time new buyers conducted a house inspection, we already had headed to our new home in Arizona. Barb helped coordinate contracts with Termite company, handyman, Radon company, cleaning company, and City Occupancy inspector to ensure all issues with the house were resolved prior to closing. I don't know how we could have addressed all those issues without Barb's help. 4. House preparation for showings. Barb provided welcome guidance on preparing the house as well as possible so that potential buyers saw the "best face put forward". 5. Regular feedback on marketing activity. Barb checked in with us weekly to assess number of showings, amount of internet hits, and buyer trends as the house was being shown. House was on the market about 7 weeks before a contract was offered. We give Barb 5 stars; any buyer or seller cannot go wrong with her as an agent.
