When I started my career in real estate nearly two decades ago, I knew immediately that this is what I would make my life's work. I started in the early 2000s when the market was like the California gold rush while I was still in college and working at Chick-fil-a and other part time jobs. I saw the more experienced agents doing tons of business and I aspired to be one of them. I couldn’t have known what was in store for the real estate industry at the time, but I experienced the same crash that everyone else did in 2008. I didn’t have the luxury of years of savings and a large clientele. I was in my early twenties, alone, and trying to survive. Through all of this I was never deterred. I worked odd jobs, ate expired food, and had several months that I didn’t know if the bills would get paid. This was the price I was willing to pay to do the work I love. While many left the business, I stayed the course. While the market was at rock bottom, I had the good fortune of meeting my mentor and friend, Oscar Wells. Oscar not only gave me his business, but he taught me things about business and real estate that you can’t find in books. To say I am forever grateful would be a huge understatement. As the tide began to rise again and we began to come out of the dark days of the housing crisis, I met the man that I would eventually marry. Our shared love of flipping houses and investing in real estate evolved into a flourishing business as Trevor became one of the area's most respected home builders. Looking back now as the top producer in my market, I see that the hard times I endured were necessary to mold me into the agent that I am today. I am committed to ensuring that my clients understand the homebuying and home selling processes so that they can make good decisions. My goal is to help clients buy or sell their homes at the right price on their timeline and I strive to make the process as stress-free as possible. Communication is important to me and I will always be transparent with my clients. Even though the market has changed over the years, the ideals that allowed me to survive the hard times have never wavered. I treat every client like they are my first and only client. I treat every deal like it is the only deal that matters. I serve my clients with loyalty and tenacity. I wake up every day grateful to have the opportunity to do what I love. If I could go back to the beginning I would do it all over again if it meant being able to serve you as your Realtor. I reside in St. Marys with my husband Trevor and our son, Frazier Wells Readdick. We have a golden retriever named Lucy in addition to two cats, Marilyn & Monroe. When I am not working, I enjoy big game hunting in the winter, boating in the summer, and spending time in my kitchen creating from scratch meals and baked goods for my family and friends.
