About Michael

Mike Karl is a Northeast Ohio native and has lived in the Akron area his whole life. He is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realty located in the beautiful Portage Lakes. Just a few years ago, he and his fiancé purchased their first home and he instantly fell in love with the real estate industry and the processes involved in buying and selling real estate. Shortly after that he began working with investors to find off market properties for their portfolios. Through that experience he realized he wanted to dive in even deeper into all things real estate and became a realtor. Outside of real estate Mike is best known as a drummer in the Northeast Ohio Music scene. He has been playing for 16 years and has played many of the areas best known venues and music festivals. He loves spending time with his family and watching his son Mikey learn and grow. He truly feels that real estate is a lifetime endeavor and has found it extremely satisfying to assist people with their real estate needs, goals and dreams. He also delights in sharing what the area has to offer with his local knowledge and expertise!
