Coffee in the Pioneer Valley
Local coffee shops enrich our local communities and provide us with our much-needed caffeine intake, especially around the holidays and during the cold winter months! While you can certainly go to a chain coffee shop anywhere, anytime, that little café at the end of the road will truly have you pining after their caramel house blend and homemade lemon drizzle cake during your lunch break. We try to support local whenever we can, so here are a few of our go-to local coffee shops in the Pioneer Valley:
Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters: Local coffee roasters with multiple locations throughout the valley with a variety of brews and espresso drinks, plus breakfast bites and pastries. Every location is very consistent in quality and taste, which is a huge plus!
Familiars (Northampton): This shop is situated in a historic red dining car, and they offer a great selection of coffees and teas along with delicious comfort foods. The cold brew here is very tasty and comes highly recommended!
Esselon Café (Hadley): There is often a line or wait to be seated at Esselon, and for good reason. From the freshly roasted coffee and rare and exotic teas to an appetizing food menu, this popular place does not disappoint.
The Water’s Fine Goods & Coffee (Easthampton): When you walk into the Water’s Fine, it’s like walking into your favorite interior designer’s highly curated Instagram feed -- but it’s even better because you can buy it all! The water really is fine here, because it is used to brew delicious coffee that you can sip on while you browse their expertly chosen selection of small production, local, and fair trade goods.
