  • Coldwell Banker was founded in 1906, by Colbert Coldwell. He saw a need for honest, knowledgeable real estate professionals following the San Francisco earthquake. In 1913, Benjamin Banker joined the firm as a salesman, and he and Colbert Coldwell quickly discovered they held similar views & ethics. Mr. Banker became an active partner in 1914, and the two remianed active in the company throughout their lives. Keith (Kip) Jackson bought a Coldwell Banker franchise in 1984. I joined Coldwell Banker Keith Jackson in 1986. In 1996 Kip Jackson and his good friend Dave Mann joined their offices and we became Coldwell Banker Jackson & Mann. They soon opened a much needed office in west Santa Cruz. In September of 2004 NRT bought our three offices and we became part of the NRT family.
