If I could add five more stars to the Review I would. So you are thinking about Jean Esop. If you are like me you are skeptical and gun shy of sales people. Yes. So am I . But Jean. You just can't get better than her. Perhaps like you; you don't want to get locked into a sales person. You feel they are just thinking of their commission and $$$. Not Jean. I went into an open house and I thought she was one of the people there looking to purchase. She was dressed in Army Pants, boots, and a white blouse. She started chatting to my sister and I and I thought this lady was cool. Someone you would like to have as a friend. Right off the bat; I felt this way towards her. When she said she was the Realtor; I couldn't believe it since she was so down to earth and I just clicked. She wasn't one of those cookie cutter, plastic, stereotype Realtor that I thought only existed out there. She was like me in the fact she was very real. How could I not like someone that was a Realtor and I had felt an immediate like for this lady. I thought this realtor is good in getting on my good side right away and I thought; when is the shoe going to drop. IT NEVER DID ! She was always there. I was a buyer. My brother-in-law said that realtor only will help the seller. I was a buyer. I had a budget from $600 to $1m. Every step of the way; she would tell me the flaws of the home and the good things that most people wouldn't see in a home. She didn't show me the top end homes only. She was at budget or below; which made me feel great. She was interested in my budget and what I wanted. Not what she wanted. Wow ! Jean was always there. Always answer her phone. Always wrote back and text me. I felt I was like a brother to her. She has since felt like a sister to me. A few house slip through my fingers to no fault of anyone. It is called Real Estate Shopping. But if. I wanted a house that was sold; Jean would let the other realtor know I was interested. Once I found my house; she was right there every step of the way. Walking me through the process in a smooth transition from start to finish. She was there after the sale as well. If I were to buy or sell; I would call Jean. Honest. Dependable. Caring. Hard worker. I've bought and sold in excess of a dozen properties in my lifetime and have dealt with quite a few realtors, interviewing many while also engaging others to handle my needs. I recently sold my home as it was time to downsize and move to another state. My wife and I interviewed two agents and then settled on Jean Esop, based on a strong recommendation from a friend. Having read all the prior comments regarding Jean, I can attest that everything was true and then some. Jean was extremely attentive to our needs and, after we mutually turned down a couple of offers, she found a family that found our home perfect for their needs. There were cosmetic and other issues with our house and Jean managed to negotiate a contract that resulted in an amazing sale. She was in constant contact with us and responded in a very timely way to any questions that we had. In addition, she visited us constantly and talked to us face to face; we almost felt like she was part of our family such was her empathy and personal attention with our desire to sell our home. Words aren't enough to express our satisfaction with how she handled our sale. I even sent flowers to her after the close of escrow, something I never did for prior brokers that I've dealt with.

This was my first time purchasing a home. Along with my parents my wife and I worked with Jean to find and purchase this multi generational home. My parents had worked with Jean on a previous real estate transaction and thought very highly of her so we decided to retain her services for this purchase as well. She started out by helping us find different financing options that we could use and helped us in the process of getting our loan. In the meantime she forwarded us several possible property options that met our requirements which were pretty specific. We needed something that was single story yet had separate areas for my parents and my wife and I. We finally zeroed in on the house we wanted and the negotiating process began. This is where Jean really shines. She is completely in your corner trying to get the best deal for you she possibly can. After recommending property inspections and comparing to seller disclosures we were able to get a more accurate picture of the value of the property. After finally agreeing on a purchase price we opened escrow, loan documents were signed, money was distributed and BAM all of a sudden I'm a home owner. In conclusion Jean is very knowledgeable, personable,and dedicated to her clients. I would definitely recommend her for your next real estate transaction.

I would give Jean 10 stars if I could. She helped me purchase my first home in Oceanside while I was still stationed overseas in Japan! Jean tirelessly worked around the clock to make sure all my questions were answered, went to listings and showed them to me via FaceTime, and connected me to a local team of lenders, contractors, inspectors, etc. that allowed me to close escrow in 17 days! However, the best part of working with Jean is her enthusiasm and honesty. She genuinely loves what she does and will guide you through the home buying process as if she was the buyer. I have the utmost trust in her ability and keen eye to select good properties, and she will never compromise quality to make a quick sale. Her customer service is second to none, goes above and beyond all expectations, and is now like family to me. I love the home I just purchased, and if you're looking to purchase a home, look no further and call Jean!

I was so conflicted about listing again.The 2 other Realtors with whom I had listed told me I would need to bite the bullet and dramatically lower my Sale Price! After listing with Jean, she said, 'Get in my car we are going to the County.' Jean picked up on the fact that the County had several details about my property which were incorrect. Once corrected my home was valued on-line at the price I said it was worth all along! Jean developed a profile of who and from where my most likely buyer would come. Jean is a very hands on, up front, trustworthy Realtor who puts her clients interests ahead of her own. I have been a owner builder and a spec buyer all my life. If I could give Jean Esop six stars I would, because she is that good! Jean was there for me. She ianswered any, and all questions I had regarding the sale of my house. Jean always answered my calls, or when busy returned my calls in a timely matter. If I could clone Jean Esop and share her with the world I would!! As a first time home buyer I was extremely nervous, but Jean walked me through each and every single step of the process. Jean is a very trustworthy, honest, and knowledgeable Realtor! We feel very fortunate we found her and got to work with her. We would call her anytime we need a Realtor and never think about calling someone else. She answers her phone, she is very accessible and always provided information we requested and explained those things we did not understand. She would go over the loans of record before making an offer on property, took special care of a properties history. For example 1 we looked at had been a foreclosure before the current owners had it and therefore she dug very deep to make sure there wasn't something hidden that would create some issue down the line. i would highly recommend Jean Esop. She is knowledgeable, knows her stuff and really cares about you. Jean has a lot of heart and I think she would be doing what she does for people even if she didn't get paid. Jean loves what she does and it really shows in how she does it.

Jean Esop has been the best Realtor I ever worked with. She spent so much time researching and finding ways to save us money. I have never had a Realtor go to so much trouble to help us. Jean was always cheery and happy to dig into the problem which came up to solve too. She didn't tell us well I don't know what you should do or I don't know how you will handle that. She gave us options and really worked so hard for us. Jean is not the kind of Realtor who will list your home and disappear after the checks have been issued. She came back months later to see if everything was still ok and if we were happy. Very extraordinary.

Jean was a great find as a Loan Officer and later as a Real Estate Agent. She is always watching out for everything in a deal that could go or is wrong. The other side was sometimes irritated at all the mistakes she found on their side and had to request they correct. Jean would calmly explain that this is about the highest and biggest asset anyone will probably buy or sell and it just needs to be right and accurate in all ways! It is obvious when you meet Jean that she wants to do a really great job for you! I have 6 brothers and 1 by 1 she helped us each get our own houses.
