If you are planning to sell or purchase a home in the greater Roanoke area, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't us Larry Sherertz, Coldwell Banker. Now the why. But first you need to know a little more about me. I'm 68 years old, married with two grown children, a retired Marine who served over 24 years, and currently the owner of a small remodeling company (22+ years). Now back to Larry. Larry was recommended to us from Dom and Lydia Norcia, Coldwell Banker realtors from Los Gatos, California. Dom and Lydia assisted my brother and I with selling or mother's residence during 2015. My mother's estate was in a trust which has its delicate requirements. My wife (Darlene) and I were in the process of selling our home in Woodbridge, VA (north end of the state) with intent to relocate to the Roanoke area. So, we had to make the process work 'œlong distance.' And we had to make this happen in about 6 weeks. I immediately became very comfortable with Larry with our first phone call and that feeling only increased as we moved through the buying process. Larry provided us with great listings from the Roanoke area MLS, he was in constant contact with us, and very patient and responsive to our many questions. The weekend we drove down to look at potential properties, it rained the entire time and to make thingd worse we (at the last minute) had our two Boxers (pets) accompany us which proved interesting as we walked through over a dozen properties. Larry's patience and professionalism made this day as enjoyable as possible. The post contract actions went smoothly with Larry's on-hand involvement. Larry is great to work with. He was very patient and always willing to take you to look at any house. He was also flexible in scheduling visits.

I would STRONGLY recommend working with Larry. My wife and I were first time home buyers, and he was extremely patient, professional, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be calling Larry next time we are looking to buy a home. Larry was always very quick to get back to us with any questions we had, and he made the process seem easy since he handled a majority of the communication with our lender. Larry's years of knowledge helped us to make informed decisions on the offer we made, as well as negotiating repairs after the home inspection. I can't imagine using a realtor that isn't Larry.
