Growing up in the snow belt state called Ohio, I always dreamed of living in a place where there would never be snow and the ocean would be within a few miles of my home. This dream became a reality in 1991 and I have loved every minute of the sunny days and subtropical climate (aka no snow!) here in Punta Gorda! Located in the Southwestern quadrant of Florida, Charlotte County is surrounded by clean and beautiful waterways where you can fish, swim, boat, snorkel or just lay out and enjoy the warm weather. One of the best features of this area is the lack of over development, which is common in many of the coastal towns in Florida. Our communities make you feel welcome and its quaintness will make you feel relaxed. Come visit and see for yourself! Our homes are affordable and offer canal front properties at prices you won't see in other coastal towns and the list of groups, activities and entertainment are endless.
