There are so many wonderful things that we can say about Barbara and Madeline!! They are the best realtors in the area! I don't know what we would have done without them! We recently moved to Texas from Northern Virginia and they made the home buying process go so smoothly! They were so knowledgeable in all areas and took the time to really get to know our family and our needs as we had to make so many critical decisions for our cross country move. I knew immediately upon meeting Barbara Kearns that she was the realtor for us. She came so prepared and gave us such confidence in her ability to get the job done and that she did. When I was called to the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Beaumont as an Interim Pastor in August 2016 I was seeking a house and needed to find something suitable quickly. I had been looking at photos posted on the Internet and phoned the agent for Coldwell-Banker Southern Homes who had listed the home I was interested in. However, she was busy and directed me to call the local office of Coldwell-Banker and it was Real Estate Agent and Realtor Barbara Kearns who took my call. Barbara was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, professional, patient and showed sincere concern for me as a client and helped me to make the right decision to rent the property at 5640 Clinton Street, Beaumont, TX 77706. She addressed all my questions and concerns (including the pink-and-green tile bathroom) with sanctified common sense and provided the local knowledge and insight I needed to feel comfortable in buying my new home. I was impressed with her dedication in helping me find a rental house and also with her willingness to advise me about the real estate market in Beaumont and the Golden Triangle area. After I moved in I asked the owner of the property I was renting if he would be interested in selling it to me but he declined, explaining the property had been the starter home for him and his family and he wanted to keep it. So, when he changed his mind in May 2021 and offered to sell it to me, this was truly an answer to prayer. I immediately called Barbara Kearns and asked if she would be willing to guide me through the process of purchasing the property I had now been renting for 5 years. The sale offer made by the owner was generous, but his one condition was that we leave the real estate agents out of it. However, I knew that I needed help and Barbara agreed to represent me as a buyer and advise me throughout the procedure for a reasonable fee. Her skill and experience helped me avoid the many pitfalls and mistakes often made during the buying process, and her discernment and charming personality apparently put the seller at ease because he raised no objections to Barbara representing me in the sale. As a long-time resident in Beaumont, Barbara has established working relationships with other professionals in the real-estate community here and referred me to Brenda Saulsbury with Westin Mortgage Group and Charles Cole with TWFG Insurance Services and others who provided the home inspection and survey of the property. I mention all this to say that when you choose Barbara Kearns as your Real Estate Agent and Realtor you will be getting someone who will provide all the expertise and professional contacts needed to deliver your property needs, and I am speaking from personal experience! As you would expect Barbara keeps busy but she has never failed to return every text or phone call, and she is ably supported by Realtor Assistant Madeline Busby!
