in the far eastern end of Columbus County for the past 23 years, she feels
privileged to say that home has always been an area that is within a 30-minute
drive to Wilmington, Whiteville or Elizabethtown and just a few minutes more to
education includes earning a Bachelor¿s Degree in Elementary Education from
Fayetteville State University and a Graduate Degree in School Administration
from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She has served students, parents, and the
community for more than thirty years as a teacher, school principal, and
educational consultant. During this time, she learned the importance of patience,
earning trust, being a great listener and advocating for others. These same qualities will assist her with
