Alan VanVliet was introduced to the real estate world while
helping his father build homes in Central Ohio while he was a teenager.  He spent 28 years on the west coast in
California and Oregon leading and managing construction and development
projects including a number of large master planned resorts in the Pacific
Northwest.  During that time he always
worked closely with sales and marketing teams and understands the importance of
a cohesive plan. He moved into the sales area and obtained his real estate
license when he moved to North Carolina in 2012.  Alan joined the Coldwell Banker Howard Perry
& Walston firm where he was recognized as the Rookie of the Year in
2013.  In 2016, transferred his expertise
to the Fonville Morisey Barefoot team as a Vice President and grew his team
from 4 to 12 agents in less than a year.
He and his wife, Michelle moved to Cape Fear area in April 2018 and
