Although I am not a native Pittsburgher, I have been here long enough to call it home. I was born in Washington, DC. I left home after graduating high school and enrolled in Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA where I met my husband-to-be. He brought me to Pittsburgh, his home, where we spent the first ten years living on the North Side. I finished my undergrad at Pitt, with a major in Mathematics and minor in Computer Science. The next 30 years were spent in the East End of Pittsburgh. I like the feel of being in suburbia with all the conveniences of urban living. Many years later, I obtained my graduate degree in Public Policy and Planning at Carnegie Mellon University’s The Heinz School, while working for the City of Pittsburgh. I retired from my job with the city and after relaxing for a year, I decided to get back into real estate sales.
I learned so much about this city and its operations during my 25 year tenure, information which can be useful when it is time to buy or sell real estate. I worked on the computer help desk, where you need lots of patience and problem solving skills. I honed my communication and organizational skills while in management and at the executive level.
I believe I have the work ethic, integrity and honesty you want in a real estate salesperson. Let me help you find your dream home in one of the city’s 90 neighborhoods or its suburbs, and I am sure you will believe it, too!
