Born and raised in Guatemala, Alex is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Alex moved to the U.S. to attend college and made Miami, Florida his home for 10 years. He attended the University of Miami for an Intensive English program, earning an Associate's degree as well as a Bachelor in Business. Alex moved to several states while with the U.S. Army, and ended up in DC in 2010. Being in the service enforced valuable qualities which set him apart, such as discipline, determination, honesty and attention to detail. Alex is extremely comfortable working under pressure, and holds himself to the highest standard of excellence at all times. Having also owned a moving company, he intimately understands logistics, marketing, operations and negotiations.
Alex began selling real estate in Florida where he worked as a real estate agent, and a sales manager for a small brokerage firm where he was part owner. After an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. military in 2015, he obtained his Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia real estate licenses, and has been helping clients in the DMV ever since.
Alex lives in Southeast DC's Hillcrest neighborhood, where he sells about one out of every four homes. In free time you'll likely find him jogging on the National Mall, exercising, entertaining friends, and spending time with his family and dog.
