I'm Jamie, but you can call me The Old House Lady. I live in Boulder and work here as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. I'm licensed to work anywhere in the state of Colorado, but I focus mostly on the Front Range and Denver-Metro areas.
I have the best job in the world not just because it's fun and fulfilling to help people achieve their real estate dreams, but really because I get to work in places with a strong sense of community and pride in local history. I've been fascinated by historical architecture since I was little, and now as a Realtor, I specialize in selling historic homes and working with buyers who are looking for an older home.
The best part about my job is being able to use my education (a bachelor's degree in History, and a Master of Business Administration) as a tool to help people build better lives for themselves. I get to geek out over old houses and use my research, marketing, and negotiation skills for the benefit of others.
Being a realtor also means that I get to act as a trusted advisor to my clients, an expert advocate for them. Honesty and ethics are at the core of my business, even when it's hard or means walking away from a deal. I'm here to help you reach your real estate goals, not to make a sale.
The National Association of realtors requires members to follow a strict code of ethics, part of which involves being a steward for fair housing practices, running our businesses free from discrimination. This is a responsibility that I take very seriously - one of the few things I care about as much as old houses is social justice. and dogs. Definitely dogs.
