Originally from Seattle, Karel moved to Houston in 2010 to serve as an orchestra director in the Houston area schools. His public educator and leadership background transfers well to his residential real estate career because of his strong work ethic, communication, and interpersonal skills. Karel is detail-oriented, proactive, and enthusiastic about successfully helping his clients easily navigate the home-buying and selling process. He carefully listens to his clients' real estate needs and works diligently to make their goals a reality.
Karel earned degrees from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and is an accomplished violinist, published composer, and published author with Oxford University Press.
In his spare time, Karel volunteers with the Houston Food Bank, and enjoys traveling and physical fitness-particularly running and cycling at Houston's beloved Memorial Park. He has run the Houston Aramco Half Marathon, New York City Half Marathon, and Houston Chevron Marathon.
