I’ve been a full-time real estate agent in Sarasota since 2015 and have enjoyed working with both buyers and sellers. As a new sales associate, I was named the Florida Rookie of the Year due to my exceptional sales volume. I am passionate about what I do and hold myself to a high standard. I listen closely, work diligently, am detail oriented and practice a ‘client first’ approach.
I was born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, and moved to Los Angeles, California, after receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College in Chicago. I spent a total of ten years in Los Angeles working in the film industry at Creative Artists Agency, Warner Brothers Studios and Universal Pictures. In addition, I worked as a freelance script supervisor on national television commercial shoots for clients such as McDonalds, Disney, ESPN, Pepsi, Toyota and Budweiser.
I moved to Sarasota 15 years ago when my sons were four and seven. They are both in college now - my oldest is at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa (Roll Tide!) and my youngest is at Florida State University (Go Noles!). Before heading off to college, they attended Southside Elementary, Pine View School for the Gifted and Cardinal Mooney High School.
I have always been very active in the community. Shortly after I moved to Sarasota, I fell in love with the local mid-century modern architecture and quickly immersed myself in the modern architecture community. It wasn't long before I became a regular volunteer with Sarasota Architectural Foundation and their annual house tour event, Sarasota Mod Weekend. In addition to my work with SAF, I spent seven years as a fundraising volunteer at Pine View School, served on the board for the Monsters Lacrosse Academy and the South Gate Community Association.
I believe my success in real estate is a direct result of my ongoing commitment to community service, and a strong Midwestern work ethic! If you're looking to buy or sell a home, please give me a call. I would love the opportunity to work with you.
