Customer service and working with people has been a major driving force for me ever since I was a teenager. After spending many years in cosmetology with several years of restaurant management thrown in, I made the decision in 2010 to become a licensed realtor in Ohio. Real estate is a career that always intrigued me, and once I got my license I was convinced it was the best career move I had ever made! I worked for two different large brokerages in the Cincinnati OH area and had a successful career in which I was able to meet many, many unbelievable people. As tends to happen, out of the blue life threw me a curve ball! This time, it was my husband receiving a call from a buddy of his who was getting ready to start a project in a place neither of us had ever heard of, St George Island, FL!! We had recently purchased a beautiful home built in the early 1900's, and had many plans for our OH future. My husband visited the Forgotten Coast for the first time ever, exactly a week after Michael hit, in 2018. He fell in love, and we spent Christmas week in Apalachicola that year. On the same trip we found our "it was meant to be" moment when we met a great young lady in Apalachicola who was getting married and had a house she needed to sell. Long story short, we closed on her house in late January of 2019 and my husband became a full time resident of FL while I commuted back and forth from OH. I am still licensed in OH and periodically help my daughter with the team we started together, but in December of 2020 we made the decision to rent our OH home, and I became a full time resident of FL also. I just recently achieved my FL real estate license, and am very excited to now be a member of the team at Coldwell Banker Florida. While I am based out of the Panama city Beach office,my home is in Apalachicola and I am able and willing to help you find your perfect piece of paradise anywhere in NW Florida. I sincerely hope that we have a chance to meet in the near future!!
