When you think about selling your home, remember the first thing a potential buyer sees is the front. A lot of times if the front of your home looks inviting the buyer is more likely to go inside. Here are a few tips to get your home ready to sell.

    • cleaning up your yard is easy. remove any loose branches laying around, cut your grass, remove any weeds, and clear off your sidewalk spaces. Next do a little landscaping buy planting some flowers and adding pops of color. This will help draw in their eyes.
    • Power wash your driveway, walkways and windows to help your home out not only for you but for buyers
    • have children? remove any toys laying around your yard and store them in your garage. The potential buyer may not have kids and wont want to see a bicycle laying in the front yard.
    • show off your patio area by cleaning off your cushions, tables and chairs. Highlight what makes your yard unique.

Think back to when you purchased your home, what did you love about the yard? What made you buy this home? Chances are future buyers will love it for the same reasons you do.
