Long ago my husband thought I would make a great realtor. I scoffed because my background was 20 years of corporate product development. Little did I know, my husband was right. My background was a perfect fit and I have grown a successful business. I revel in numbers and negotiations. Problem solving and processes are my yin/yang that keeps the sale moving smoothly. I am a people person and genuinely care about each of my clients and their counterparts. All of these attributes together create a unique sales agent. Looking back I see now that I was constantly marketing. Marketing my products to designers, engineers, executives and although the medium has changed the intent and the work that is required has not. I had to substantiate new products based on data and show a trend. Then I had to source vendors, negotiate terms and prices then ensure processes and procedures to guarantee it was always reproduced the same way every day. Finally, did the sales support my endeavor?
