Julie Prater
A Texas native, Julie has lived in Kansas for over 17 years. Julie and her husband, Jay, met while both working in Nashville, TN. Jay's career landed them in Wichita. Wanting to learn about Wichita and Kansas... they quickly jumped at the chance to learn as much as they could by traveling the state and volunteering in the community. Not knowing many people in town, Julie quickly began to make some new best friends through her involvement with Junior League of Wichita.
The Prater family loves to tell others how much they enjoy living in Wichita! When not working, Julie spends time with her husband and their two kids, walking their Hurricane Harvey rescue dog, Wally, and giving back to her community (see the detailed list below).
Julie grew up in a small town in Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Her professional career includes over 25 years in the advertising/marketing, event planning and nonprofit sectors in Texas, Tennessee and Kansas.
Julie thrives in customer service driven industries and knows that time is of the essence and passion is always in play with her past in marketing, event planning and non-profits and now as a Realtor with Wessel Team Home Sales at Coldwell Banker Plaza Real Estate. With her skills honed, Julie makes it her mission to fully care for her clients with her attention to details, listening to what her clients' need and making sure no tasks are left undone.
