¿I was fortunate to meet Russ through mutual business associates. I first worked with him when the company I work for was looking for properties. When my husband and I decided it was the right time for us to start looking for a home, Russ was the first person I thought of. Going through the home buying process for the first time can be very overwhelming. Russ made it easy. Russ was readily available to take phone calls, emails, or texts and answered our questions with knowledge and understanding. When we first started looking at buying, Russ listened to what we wanted in a house, and offered great selection to look at! Russ has been a huge help in our entire buying process. He is a very calm and low-keyed person who really listens to your list of things you like about a property, and is very thorough in going over paperwork making sure you understand all the written statements and agreements. Nothing is left to surprise you in the end. He responds fairly quickly when you contact him and he has an undivided attention when he schedules phone calls or FaceTime calls with you. He keeps you very updated on how the process is going. I was impressed with our first meeting with him, so much do that my wife and I referred another customer to him without reservations. Russ was an invaluable asset to me when trying to decide if investing in a college property was a good idea. He has a vast knowledge of the Lincoln market and what areas are popular and a good investment. He made the sale a simple and easy decision. He handled all the negotiations with the seller and ensured we were safe by insisting on a home inspection before sale. He followed up immediately whenever I had questions via phone or text. Even though Russ was the buyer's agent, he gave us (the sellers) all of the time, attention, and knowledge he possibly could to make the transaction as easy as possible for all of us involved.
There was never a time when I didn't get a prompt answer to any questions I had.
In addition, Russ is very patient, thorough, and personally, a great agent to work with.
I would recommend Russ to anyone...and if we ever buy another home, he will be our guy !

Russ was great to work with! Even during a pandemic! He was responsive to my needs.When showing my home to have the guests wear masks and gloves. On Thanksgiving Day he showed me and my Aunt and Uncle a home that I was considering for purchase.
He answered texts and phone messages very quickly. Generally, within the hour if not sooner. I also liked working with Russ' team. I felt as though they always had each other's backs at any given time. I never felt as though I was an imposition ever, when one of Russ' team members helped me.
I have another house to be sold and when I am ready I will call Russ!

Russ was very knowledgeable! He was very friendly and treated us like family. He helped my mom sell her house so she could move into a senior living place. He was patient and really explained everything so she could understand. He was very helpful with explaining the offers we received so we could make a good decision on the offer we accepted. Russ is easy to work with. He listened to our wants, needs and desires and helped to navigate the market. Due to our schedules communication was key to get into the homes we wanted to see on our schedule. We had a fantastic experience with Russ Meyer as our Realtor for selling our home. A colleague at the University of Nebraska recommended Russ because of their family's experience with him while purchasing their current home. This was the first time selling a home for my wife and I.
