Sunday October 23rd marked the Opening Day for Ski

Many enthusiasts anxiously checked the weather reports for days prior, but when Sunday morning came it did not disappoint. Summit county residents and visitors alike took their first turns of the season on A-Basin Resort celebrating once again the beginning of “riding” season.

Lifestyle in the mountains is about year-round activity, whether it’s mountain biking in the Spring, Summer, and Fall; paddling, kayaking, or fishing in the summer; or, snowboarding, skiing, snow shoeing, etc., in the winter! And when it comes to winter, I have never seen a community be so pumped for snow in the forecast!!

Summit County is all about being outdoors regardless of the time of year. Winter fanatics are excited to have snow back on the mountains and are looking forward to another exciting and fun season.
