- Served in the National Buard from 1954 to 1965, attended Officers Candicate School in 1962 and served as an officer thereafter.Licensed in real estate in 1968.Opened Richardson Realty in 1971 and was leading real estate company for over 38 years until he sold and joined Coldwell Banker McMillan.Past President of the Florence Board of Realtors for three (3) terms.One of the Founders for the Florence Multiple Listing Service.Elected "Realtor of the Year" for the Florence Board of Realtors on two (2) occasions.Elected "State Realtor of the Year".One of the Top 5 Realtors in the National who have donated over $50,000 to RPAC.Past President of the local Home Builders Association.Past State President of the Home Builders of S. C.Served as the first Chairman of the Florence County Planning Commission and developed Codes for the county. Developed several communities in Florence and was the principal in locating the Farmers Market in Florence, SC.
