
Seth Davis
After graduating from St Lawrence University, I moved to Lake Tahoe to follow my passion to ski and desire to work in the industry. After two years learning the business and making connections from all over the world, I appreciated there was so much to see and learn through travel. Wanting to be immersed in a different culture, I connected with a global organization, Willing Workers on Organic Farms (WWOOF), linking volunteers who live and work with farmers on organic farms. For five months I backpacked solo across New Zealand exchanging room, board and learning for labor and skills to help farmers with a variety of tasks around the kiwi orchards and vineyards.
Returning to Vermont in 2009, I sought out opportunities to build my career in sales in an evolving and competitive ski retail industry. Beginning in online ski sales, I went on to work as a buyer and lead sales person for Alpine Shop in South Burlington. After a few years, I became a sales representative for Blizzard, Tecnica, and Rollerblade traveling throughout New England helping retailers grow their businesses in a rapidly changing market.
I saw an opportunity to own my first home through a federal tax credit and favorable mortgage interest rates. At the age of 25, I bought a property in Burlington. While I learned a lot about the process, after ten years, I also learned a lot about the value of homeownership.
Now a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman, I bring a can-do attitude of "find how to make it possible," to my work with home buyers and sellers. I have developed a successful career through innovative thinking, honesty, and service.
I continue my passion for learning about new cultures through backpack excursions with my brother. We have traveled to Vietnam, Thailand, and the Caribbean Islands. And, of course, I continue to have many adventures on the mountains in Vermont.
