5 Best Patios to Visit in Toledo!
There's no better dining experience in the summer than sitting on a patio with friends and family to enjoy your evening. Live music. Waterviews. Great food. Great drinks. What more could you ask for?
Ye Olde Durty Bird
One of my favorite restaurants in Toledo! The Durty Bird (as locals call it) located right next to the Mud Hen's stadium and is always part of the downtown action. Live music available (pre-covid) and a bar station right by their outside patio.
My picks: I'd start with the confit wings, then move on the Rueben sandwich.
Drink of Choice: Bloody Mary
Webber's Waterfront Restaurant
I'm originally from Oak Harbor, so when I need my 'waterview' fix this is the place that I head to every time! Boats are welcome with floating docks available. One of the largest patios on the list so feel free to bring some friends. Tiki bar outside and live music (pre-covid).
My picks: Beach bread and perch dinner.
Drink of Choice: Cold Beer
Rosie's Italian Grille
One of the best kept secrets in Toledo, Rosie's is the perfect environment for a quiet night on the town. Not the largest patio in the group, but it is quaint and covered for nice shade when the sun is in full effect! Perfect for a date night or dinner with work associates.
My picks: Baby lamb chops to start and Chicken marsala as entrée
Drink of Choice: House red wine
Across the street from Levis Commons, Social is where I always ask to meet friends when we go to Perrysburg. The best outside bar in the group with plenty of bar seating (as well as tables). Modern décor and a menu referred to as a 'Culinary Adventure'
My picks: Queso egg rolls then move on to the Mac n Cheese!
Drink of Choice: Manhattan
Inside the Five
The perfect patio for Downtown Sylvania! While not the biggest on the list, the best part of this patio is being able to watch all the activities that Downtown Sylvania has to offer. Hang out after the farmers market or catch the next parade - all with a handcrafted beer right by your side. Sunday brunch available.
My picks: Brussel sprouts and the IT5 Burger
Drink of Choice: Florida sunrise (orange siason)
