My Motto is: Helping YOU Create YOUR American Dream whether Buying, Selling or Both. I am very client/customer oriented. I was born on the coast of California and moved to the Midwest in my mid-20s where I lived for about 15-years chipping ice and shoveling snow in the winter. Ice fishing and camping were positives. I loved the spring and fall with the new blooming trees and flowers and the changing of the leaves. Summers were generally hot and humid. In the early 80s, my family and I moved to the coast of Texas where it is mostly pleasant year-round. Fishing was great. We lived on the coast for about 20-years before transferring to North Texas. I wanted to continue my schooling, but work and school schedules didn't jive. I finally retired and moved to Gun Barrel City, just south and a little east of Dallas. I couldn't stand retirement so I obtained my real estate license and have been helping buyers and sellers ever since. I love the relaxed, on vacation, atmosphere. Texas has something for everyone and the Cedar Creek Lake area is no exception. Imaging all the amenities of the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex, just an hour or so away, and those of Austin, San Antonio and Houston within a day's travel. This is the place and this is the life.

Cedar Creek Lake Reservoir is one of the largest lakes in Texas; located about 60 miles south of Dallas on Cedar Creek, a tributary to the Trinity River. The lake has 320 miles of shoreline, is about 18 miles long and about 8.5 miles at its widest point. The lake is owned and operated by the Tarrant County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 as a municipal water supply serving Ft. Worth and the many communities around the lake.

Fishing and water sports are the big attractions at Cedar Creek Lake. Texas Parks and Wildlife has rated the lake as excellent for White and Hybrid Striped Bass and good for Largemouth Bass, Catfish, and Crappie. Water Skiing, sailing, swimming, etc. are the main attractions from late spring through early fall. There are several public boat ramps around the lake: Big Chief Landing in Gun Barrel City, Tom Finley Park between Gun Barrel City and Seven Points and Caney City Ramp located on Hwy 198. There are several private boat ramps with a $5 launch fee: Causeway Marina in Seven Points, Loan Star Marina located just south of Tool off Hwy 274, Log Cabin Marina located in Log Cabin off Hwy 198 and off Payne Road or FM 2054, and Fisherman's Wharf North of Malakoff off Hwy 198 to County Road 1703.
