Kim moved to the area with her family when she was four years old. Her father was 82nd Airborne and stayed very connected to the military after service. Growing up, Kim competed in horse shows - eventing competitions and riding with Moore County Hounds. After high school, she studied Hospitality and Tourism at El Centro College in Dallas, Texas. She worked in the travel industry for several years while living in Dallas, Raleigh, and Charlotte.
After she moved back to Southern Pines, Kim worked as an independent travel consultant and then decided to be a full-time mom to her son Mason and volunteer at his school. Over the years, Kim has bought several homes and enjoyed putting her stamp on them, and eventually, she would move on to the next house. Enjoying the process of buying and selling these homes is what lead her to get a Real Estate License.
Kim has a love for sharing the vibrant history of Moore County with people looking to move here. She has a depth of knowledge about the area that only a local would know, like how Denker's used to be Overton's Drugstore. She would walk there from school to have ice cream, and the Sunrise was the only Theater for many years until a new theater on US1 was built, which is now the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant, and the stories go on and on....
Her history in the travel business planning wonderful trips for clients gave Kim the platform to move right into helping people with their Real Estate needs. If you or someone you know is looking to buy, sell, or invest in Real Estate, Kim would love to be your go-to Realtor®.
