 Coldwell Banker Maximum Results Real Estate Services brings global brand to new Ontario market; Grand Opening celebrations to include national management and local business figures

(Burlington, ON – February 24, 2009) A world-renowned real estate brand is now building its presence in the Cambridge market, Coldwell Banker^® Canadian headquarters has announced.  The brand’s newest affiliate in Canada is Coldwell Banker Maximum Results Real Estate Services, Brokerage.  The established real estate operation officially joined the Coldwell Banker network earlier this month and grand opening celebrations are being held on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the company’s location at 1165 Franklin Blvd., Unit I, Cambridge. The local firm joins the global Coldwell Banker network of 3500 residential real estate offices and over 100,000 sales professionals worldwide.

Broker/Owner, Karen Monteiro and Walter Monteiro have invited members of the Cambridge community to attend the company’s grand opening celebrations.  The event kicks off at 2 p.m. with a Success Planning seminar for all local real estate professionals, delivered by Coldwell Banker Canada president, John Geha.  Other highlights of the grand opening celebrations are a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 5 p.m. officiated by special guests, followed by an Open House of the company’s office during a ‘get acquainted’ wine & cheese reception from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Cambridge business figures, realtors, mortgage brokers, bankers, friends and family have been invited to come out and meet Canada’s newest national real estate leader, John Geha, President, Coldwell Banker Canadian Operations.  With close to 30 years of business experience, including the past ten years working with real estate professionals across Canada, John is an internationally recognized expert in skills development, coaching and productivity.  As part of the day’s activities, John will lead an interactive workshop to help area real estate professionals build a personal success plan utilizing a strategic planning process.

John Geha will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Karen and Walter Monteiro to officially open the office as Canada’s newest Coldwell Banker affiliate.  Sharing the ribbon-cutting duties will be Scott Bridger, Director, Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and Mrs. Val Goodyear, representing Gary Goodyear, Cambridge’s MP and junior cabinet minister for Technology.  Other special guests include Laura MacLennan, VP Business Development, Mortgage Alliance Company of Canada ; well known local builder Nathan Hallman of Aberdeen Homes; and from Coldwell Banker national management, James Mink, Director of Marketing; Kristine Carey, Director of Business Development and Teresa Camara, Director of Broker Services.
