COLDWELL BANKER® SYSTEM GROWTH IN CALIFORNIA AMONG SECOND QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (July 30, 2007) - Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC announced today that eight brokerage companies joined the Coldwell Banker®System during the second quarter of 2007. Additionally, 14 existing Coldwell Banker affiliated companies expanded their operations by opening new offices through expansion or merger/acquisitions.
Coldwell Banker Sun Ridge Real Estate in Lincoln, Calif., was one of three new California companies to affiliate with the brand. Broker/owner Nick Brooks, along with business partner Keneta Sanchez, formed Sun Ridge Real Estate in 2004 and grew the company to a current staff of 33, including 25 full-time sales associates, who concentrate on servicing clients in Sun City communities in Roseville and Lincoln Hills, Calif. They joined Coldwell Banker on June 19.
"We are having a great year and have sold more homes already this year than we did last year, despite the challenging California market," Brooks said. "We have carved out a really good niche, have great name recognition within our community and have outstanding sales associates but we recognized we could not be stagnant and always need to look for opportunities. We knew being backed by a great brand name was a must. The only company we even thought about was Coldwell Banker. Our existing customers, who were hopefully already pleased with us, have told us affiliating with Coldwell Banker was a great move and our sales associates immediately thanked us and recognized the educational and marketing opportunities Coldwell Banker provides us."
