• Background . . . Scott grew up in Austin, Minnesota, and is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. Scott has been married to Beth since 1968. Their family includes daughter, Kristin and her husband Chris Weight (and sons Otto & August, and daughter Martha) of Medina, Ohio; daughter, Sarah and her husband Chuck Ohm (and twins Preston and Cora and baby Hudson) of Zumbrota, Minnesota; and son, Ben Johnson and his wife Kambria of Minneapolis, Minnesota (and twins Rainer and Shepard). In 1996, after living in Peters Township, Pennsylvania, for twenty eight years, Scott and Beth moved full-time to their dream location of Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland (which had been their vacation destination). Scott has been a property owner at Deep Creek Lake since 1980. Prior to his association with Coldwell Banker Deep Creek Realty, Scott enjoyed thirty-six years in Sales and Marketing with Honeywell, Inc.
