TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Real estate investment trust Health Care REIT Inc. said Tuesday it has priced an offering of $300 million of senior unsecured notes.
The notes, due April 15, 2020, were priced at 99.297 percent of their face amount to yield 6.22 percent.
The offering is expected to close on April 7.
The company will use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including investing in health care and senior housing properties and repaying borrowings under its unsecured line of credit and other outstanding indebtedness.
Health Care REIT shares fell 12 cents to close at $45.71 in Tuesday trading.
