About James Adams
- Jim, Sales Broker, and wife, Linda, a Paul Harris Fellow, is also a Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group associate. The Adams Team was named 2009 "Sales Associate of the Year". We have 3 children and 3 grand children and have been residents of Door County since 1971.
- Jim is retired from 35 years as a history & government teacher and was also a football and basketball coach and Mock Trial coach.
- Both are members of the Door Co. Board of REALTORS® and Jim is the Local Government Affairs Analyst (LGAA) and currently serves on the Door County Habitat for Humanity board of directors.
- The Adams Team are both graduates of Michigan State University.
- Jim is a Past President of Wisconsin Council for the Social Studies and Linda is Past President of the Wisconsin Press Women and Sturgeon Bay Rotary.
- Jim was an 8 year veteran Sturgeon Bay City Council, serving on the Finance Cmte., Utilities Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, and Door Co. Library Board.
- Jim is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Omega, the National Service Fraternity and is a Red Cross Blood Donor (8+ gallons).
- Jim is a former member of the church finance council and Linda was a charter board member of JAKs Place, a mental health resource center in Door County and was on the board for Sunshine House, a sheltered workshop for adults in Door Co.
- Both are volunteers for the Third Avenue Playhouse & Door Co. Community Auditorium and both served on the board of the Irish Children's Program of Northern Ireland.
- Jim was selected for Fulbright Fellowship and was a group leader for the People to People Student Ambassador Program to the former Soviet Union.
