  • More About Lauren: Lauren Valek Farris was born and raised in Lakewood. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007, Lauren worked for a large public relations firm for two years. She obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas in 2010. With a passion for historic homes and a clever eye for restoration and design, Lauren feels right at home amid East Dallas’ abundance of beautiful and unique homes. With this desire to focus on historic homes in and around the Lakewood area, she joined Team Whiteside – The Lakewood Leaders – in the Spring of 2010. She has been a consistent top, multi-million dollar producer since. Lauren also recently earned the prestigious Dallas Historic Home Specialist designation.
  • As an active alumna and lifelong parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas, Lauren enjoys being involved in and giving back to her neighborhood and community. She is an active member of the Lakewood Area Women in Business organization, a member of the East Dallas YMCA and a member of the Dallas Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi. A former graduate of Ursuline Academy of Dallas, Lauren enjoys networking and attending social events for the Ursuline Academy/Jesuit Young Alum Association. She is also a member of Texas Exes and an avid Longhorns sports fan.
