  • Kris grew up on Lake Minnetonka in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She currently resides on the northwest side of Chicago with her artist husband James Basile (www.jamesbasile.com), their two children. After graduating from Hopkins High School, Kris attended The University of Southern California where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. While at USC Kris won many awards and scholarships but her most gratifying was the Jack Nicholson scholarship for outstanding achievement in Acting. After graduation, she was represented by The Gage Group in Los Angeles while she pursued a professional career in Acting. Kris resided in Manhattan for thirteen years where she continued to act and enjoy her love of theatre. In her leisure time Kris enjoys spending time with family and friends, rollerblading, golfing, and skiing.
  • She is actively involved in volunteering, and fund raising for her children’s school; LaSalle Language Academy in Old Town. Kris believes in giving back to the community and donates a portion of all of her commissions to the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation which supports local housing related charities including The Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity and the David Hall Scholarship Fund.
