About Kelly

Kelly Akao (RS) Kelly Nalani Akao was born and raised on the east side of the Island. She’s a graduate of Waiakea High School and University of Hawaii-Hilo, earning an LPN degree and Early Childhood Education Teaching Certification. Kelly was a licensed optician for over 8 years before acquiring her real estate license in 2005. Since then, she has expanded her real estate knowledge by working in property management, community association management, and is currently focused on real estate sales. One of her favorite hobbies is camping, with special favorites being trips to Kiholo Bay, South Point, Kehena Beach, Leipana and “Champagne Ponds” in Kapoho. A native of Hawaii, she appreciates all the Big Island has to offer….especially the people. Hawaiian by blood and Hawaiian at heart.
